DESCRIPTION
Ottavia is a modular keyboard and a MIDI controller with 12 dynamic keys. You can connect one or more modules to your PC, to your MAC or to an expander and start playing!
OTTAVIA with PC
Use the supplied USB cable (or another longer one) to connect Ottavia to the PC directly or through a USB hub. At this point, enter the settings panel of your favorite DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software and choose the “Ottavia” device.
OTTAVIA with MAC
Connecting Ottavia to a MAC is very simple. The system automatically recognizes the new connected device, and is verifiable from “Studio MIDI”. You can use Main Stage or Garageband for your performances.
OTTAVIA with EXPANDER
You can use Ottavia with a MIDI Expander using the MIDI IN and MIDI OUT connections. The MIDI merge between the events generated by the module and those coming from the MIDI IN will be performed automatically.
SELECT OCTAVES
Use the supplied USB cable (or another longer one) to connect Ottavia to the PC directly or through a USB hub. At this point, enter the settings panel of your favorite DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software and choose the “Ottavia” device.
Features and other details
A sustain pedal can also be connected to the rear panel.
If the modules belong to the same midi chain, or if they are connected to the same software, the pedal connected to a module will affect all the modules used.
USB power supply (alternative power supply with DC 7-12V adapter).
